Holiday House HAMPTONS is back. 2014 will be a stellar year for the Breast Cancer Charity that has sponsored 6+ years of magnificent fund raising events throughout Manhattan and Long Island.
Iris Dankner and Holiday House have a clever way to raise awareness and money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. A mansion in the tri-state area is chosen. Each room in the mansion is designed and curated by an Interior Designer who selects a Holiday theme and uses that as a guide for decor. When all the rooms are completed, the parties begin. Galas, book signings, vendor nights, performance art, sports celebrations and so much more.
We had the pleasure of attending the 2014 launch party for Holiday House Hamptons at the glamorous showroom called FENDI.
Since 1989, Fendi Casa has been creating furniture and prestigious design objects that bring the unique Fendi flavour into homes all over the world. The gorgeous collection contains a large variety of sophisticated home furnishings, luminous decorative lighting and unique accessories, all designed and manufactured using the finest materials and exclusive finishes. The production is 90% handcrafted by Italian artisans using traditional techniques in Italy.
The FENDI party for Holiday House gathered a chic crowd. Campion Platt designed the storefront window displays and received a bevy of compliments for his creative technique and theme "Luxurious Summer Fun". I spied Vincente Wolf, Gregory Allan Cramer, Lisa McMahon, Ally Coulter, Anthony Hadaway, Ford Huniford and Thom Felicia - and that was just in the first room of the expansive FENDI space located at the corner of Madison and 32nd Street.
Sparkling Wine and a variety of tray pass appetizers were served. Thomas Preti Catering had black tied waiters maneuvering in and out of the crowd during the 6-8pm party. More than 120 design enthusiast attended and appreciated Iris Dankner talking, hugging and thanking each and every guest.
