I had the pleasure to visit Raul Carrasco's showroom during NYDC What's New What's Next design marathons. Raul Carrasco has been successfully adoring many of South Florida's finest homes and businesses with his distinct mix of modern and eclectic furnishings. His new showroom just opened on the 15th floor of 200 Lexington,  just in time for the fifth annual “What’s New, What’s Next,” a showcase of new ideas, materials, and products.

Parties started as early as 2:00pm, attendees participated in presentations, book signings, and panel discussions with the industry’s top editors, designers, and manufacturers. In addition to the stimulating programs surrounding the latest trends, guests had the opportunity to view new products - ranging from residential to contract, rugs to lighting, sofas to tiles, ultra-modern to traditional, and everything in between. What’s New, What’s Next celebrates every facet of the design industry's buzz worthy projects.

One of my favorite magazine editors: Cindy Allen of Interior Design Magazine lead a panel discussion with Kathy Chia, David Khouri, Adam Kushner, Linda Pollack, Suchi Reddy, Robert Siegel and Brad Zizmor.
Great food, terrific crowd and a stellar modern collection of furnishings from Raul Carrasco.
