Hurray, I got to go to my first Press Preview as PRESS !!  I was so excited I was to be on the roster with all the outstanding "shelter design" reporters; NY Spaces, Lonny, Traditional Home, etc.  So, I wore a reporter-like ensemble and asked just one question to the design celebrities I saw throughout my  hour long visit.

What is the name of your favorite hotel in the world?  The answers either came immediately or very slowly.  See if you recognize any of your favorite designers or have visited any hotels? 

It's me as a reporter and my favorite hotel in the world is "Claridges in London".
Mario- favorite hotel in the world is "Ritz Carlton in Boston"
Ally - favorite hotel in the world is  "Plaza Athénée in Paris".
Debra- favorite hotel in the world is "Belvedere Suites in Santorini",
Amanda -favorite hotel in the world is "Mandarin Oriental in London".
Darrin- favorite hotel in the world is "Willow Lodge".
Patrick Hamilton said : " I don't do hotels"
James -favorite hotel in the world is "Plaza Athénée in Paris".
Alyssa- favorite hotel in the world is "I can't remember".
Elissa favorite hotel in the world is "Peninsula in Shanghai".
Iris - favorite hotel in the world is "St. Patricks in Malta".
Campion- favorite hotel in the world is "Amankila in Bali".
Adored the Campion Platt room - super chic . . . .

Mr. Yohansen - favorite hotel in the world is "Scandic Opalen Hotel in Sweden"
Julie- favorite hotel in the world is "Halfmoon Bay in Jamaica",

Holiday House is located at 2 East 63rd Street and will kick off with an opening-night gala today, Wednesday, November 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. It will then be open to the public daily through December 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will stay open late on Thursday evenings until 8:00 p.m.
